After The Wedding
Okie, continuing the story on my wedding day...
Around 10.30pm, the guests have left the reception and only a handful of our families were there for the final photo session for the day. Just after the photo shoot, my dad fell off the stage (about 50cm in height). Fortunately my dad had soft plants just in front of the stage that softened his fall. However, It was still very obvious that my dad was beyond pain because he couldn't say anything much afterwards.
On the following day, my dad had an x-ray and it was revealed that he had broken his right ankle. Two days afterwards, my dad had an operation to speed his recovery and prevent further damage to his right leg. It's important to recover fast and well since he's already about 62 y.o.
He was hospitalised for 2 weeks and recovered very quickly until this day. He's still walking using 1 walking stick (I think that's how you call it) today, but it was a fast recovery when he had to use 2 sticks to walk during the first and second month. He's expected to recovery fully in about 3 months.
Well, certainly a scary experience, but thank God that everything is doing well.
